Requirement review for an automatic capping machine quote

Project sourcing here means lining up comparable factory replies for an automatic capping machine. Each bidder should state what the quote includes, which closure combinations need extra contact tools, and at what elapsed time closure measurements will be recorded.

Service stage and responsibilities

Requirement review

  1. Requirement review: Upstream

Collect the bottle drawing, neck finish, cap and liner, filled mass, and the closure supplier’s application method. If that method is missing, the RFQ should say the capper supplier must propose a qualification method on buyer samples rather than copying a motor preset. Throughput should be written as bottles per hour on that sample, with reject rules, not only a spindle speed.

  2. Control boundary

Ask every automatic capping machine bidder to list: base machine; first chuck or disk set; extra tooling rows; controls cabinet; software license if any; installation; training; spare parts; shipping terms. Items left blank are treated as excluded. FAT and SAT attendance are separate lines. Connected load, three-phase supply and compressed air demand belong in the same table so electrical contractors are not guessing.

  3. Downstream

After replies arrive, we place included and excluded rows next to each other so a lower machine price is not compared with a turnkey cell. Work envelope, footprint and PLC interface still need supplier confirmation on the intended filler discharge. No percentage saving is published because this project has no matched total-cost evidence.
